  • Le Pont de La Pierre was originally a farm dating back to 1758 situated in the tranquil village of Saint Clair sur l’Elle. Mike and Deb have restored the house in the style of the 1930s-40s, an era they hold dear.
  • Staying here offers a slice of history : in 1944, a battle for the nearby bridge « Le Pont de la Pierre » unfolded between the Germans and the US 29th Infantry Division.
  • Additionally, Deb has established a private museum on the property, honoring the contributions of women to the Allied victory in WWII : « The Women of Valour WWII Museum. » Website HERE.
    Guests at the B&B will have the unique opportunity to explore this museum, accessible by appointment only.
