Bonnebosq is another charming little village of around 700 inhabitants located between two hills, on the Dorette river where you can see an old public washhouse, many 19th century houses and a neo-Gothic church dedicated to St Martin also dating from the 19th century.
There is as well the Yul Brynner stadium bearing the name of this famous American actor who used to stay in his manor in Bonnebosq : Yul Brynner moved to Cricqueboeuf manor (dating from 16th century) in 1969, and came there every year for 17 years to «recharge his batteries», he said. He was looking for tranquility and had found it in Bonnebosq, where everyone respected his private life.
The manor is located 2km from the city center of Bonnebosq and is a private property not open to the public.
You needn’t stop in Bonnebosq for long, but you can quickly have a look or lunch at A La Dorette, a local restaurant where you can enjoy a good family cuisine !
Why not stay for one night close to Bonnebosq in an authentic place ?
