An easy hike to discover Cambremer and the countryside
This easy 8-km loop will allow you to discover all the attractions of the quaint Norman village of Cambremer : the historic church, charming wash houses, local distillery, Pays d’Auge gardens, panoramic views of orchards and a stud farm. You’ll even pass by the old coaching inn called « Le Cadran » .

Starting point : Parking of Europe in Cambremer
Follow the green markings.
1- Begin by taking the walking path along CD101 to the right as you exit the parking lot. Then, veer left onto the path leading to the Pierre Huet cider cellars. Next, ascend to the Jardins du Pays d’Auge on the right, following the signposts to the D50.
2- After approximately 100 meters, turn right, then take the small tarmac road on the left towards the annexed town hall of Saint-Pair.
3- In front of the small brick town hall, take the left path to admire the magnificent panorama on your right and the view of the St-Pair stud farm on your left. After the ascent, leave a small path on your right. At the junction, proceed left onto the road leading to the Dial (Le Cadran).
4- Cross the D50 with caution, then continue on CD85 for about 400 meters. At the Croix aux Tillaye, turn right towards Grandouet and continue for approximately 750 meters. Leave the paths on your right and take the first path on the left.
5- At the next intersection, take the left path which initially descends to a stream and then narrows on the following ascent. At the Vergerie, take the opposite road descending into the village of Cambremer via Sergenterie Street. Continue left towards the church and return to the parking lot.
